The event is sponsored by AHF Products, a leading manufacturer of solid and engineered hardwood floors. Known for quality and high-performance products, AHF Products offers trusted hardwood brands such as Bruce®, Hartco®, Robbins®, and LM Flooring®—a go-to choice for builders and homeowners alike.

For home builders, hardwood flooring may enhance the marketability, value, and long-term appeal of the homes they construct. For home buyers, it offers natural, ecofriendly, aesthetic beauty,  and a solid investment. The combination of these benefits makes hardwood flooring an attractive choice for both parties in the home construction and buying process.
During the session, Dave and Jenny will demonstrate how builders can create a persuasive “trade-up” story for prospective buyers by highlighting key aspects of hardwood flooring that go beyond aesthetics and functionality.

Key benefits for builders include:

Increased Home Value: Hardwood floors may significantly boost a home’s market value, often resulting in quicker sales at higher prices.

Broad Appeal: Suitable for various home styles, hardwood attracts a diverse pool of buyers because of its wide offering of styles, widths, and species,, ensuring widespread appeal.

Durability & Low Maintenance: Hardwood floors offer incredible durability and easy upkeep, making them a smart investment for homeowners and builders alike.

Sustainability: Natural hardwood is eco friendly

According to a recent survey by the National Wood Floors Association (NWFA), homeowners say that wood floors may increase the value of their homes the most. Not only do homeowners prefer wood floors for their dream home, but they overwhelmingly believe that wood floors do the most to add value to their home – fully 79 percent of homeowners agree.

“Some homeowners worry about the cost and maintenance of hardwood, but in the long run, it’s one of the most cost-effective options because it lasts so much longer than carpets or vinyl,” says Dave Marrs. “For home buyers, hardwood floors are not only a classic design feature but also a long-term investment. They offer easy maintenance, improve indoor air quality, and provide timeless beauty that complements any style.

Dave and Jenny will also discuss cutting-edge innovations in hardwood flooring, such as Densified Hardwood and Waterproof Hardwood—two advanced products that cater to modern needs.

Densified Hardwood from Bruce® and Hartco® is an engineered wood product that has uses an exclusive process that naturally  enhance its density and durability.
